This is the official blog for The Warm Heart of Africa, a weekly radio show broadcast from the studios of Valley Free Radio, WXOJ-LP in Northampton, MA, USA, Earth. Follow the travels of your host, DJ Vinyl Scratch, as we explore the world of modern African pop, funk, jazz, dance and a multitude of unique and traditional music from both the continent itself and the African diaspora around the world.
We do the show live every Wednesday from 7 PM to 9 PM, Eastern Standard Time. You can find WHOA on the radio dial at 103.3 FM for folks living in the Pioneer Valley, or you can stream the show online anywhere in the world at www.valleyfreeradio.org.
